Kids And Muslim Mums The beginning of wisdom is the fear of god

Kids And Muslim Mums was established on 5 April 2002. The aim of this voluntary group is to encourage all Muslim ladies and children of Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill to meet, socialize and build up friendship with each other and to promote welfare and education in all fields.

All sisters are welcome to participate in organising our activities which include:
-Weekly gatherings at Hastings Mosque.
-Social gatherings, i.e. Eid parties, sports, trips, picnics.
-The Arabic & Islamic school at William Parker College.

May Allah accept and reward our efforts.

KAMM Library

KAMM has a new library in the ladies section at Hastings Mosque which contains Islamic books, DVDs, tapes, children stories, etc… which can be borrowed at the following times:

Wednesday 9.30 am – 11.00 am
Friday after Jum’ah Prayer.

KAMM Membership

All muslim ladies over the age of 18 in the area of Hastings, Bexhill and

St Leonards on Sea are invited to register as KAMM members. You will be involved in KAMM’s activites, give feedback on KAMM’s services and attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to elect committee members. Membership forms are available at the local mosque and could also be obtained from the teachers at KAMM school on Saturdays at William Parker school.

Arabic and Islamic school for kids

William Parker Sport Collage

Saturday at 10:00am - 1:30pm

The school teaches Muslim children Arabic, Qura'an and Islamic studies, which include: Islamic Manners, Stories of the Prophets, Aqeedah and Fiqh. It is open to boys aged 5 to 12 years, and girls aged 5 upwards.

Hastings Mosque

Wednesday at 9:30am- 11:00am

All sisters are welcome to join us at Hastings Mosque for study circle which includes recitation, Tajweed, and Tafseer of the Holy Quran.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are urgently required for helping out at Saturday school and organizing activities, which include sports, picnics, social parties and trips. Please email us if you are interested.
